Dr. Binoy J. Kattadiyil is the Managing Director of ICSI IIP, an IPA registered under Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI), Mentor to 3C Capitals, Adjunct Professor of Practice. A project professional with over two decades of experience, he has worked with the likes of Kerzner, 3C Capitals etc. in fields as diverse as corporate governance, project development, re-engineering re-structuring and private equity funding. He was earlier the Managing Director for a SEBI licensed portfolio management and project development Group in India, prior to which he was the Finance Director for the iconic development of Atlantis, The Palm Jumeirah project in Middle East.
He is a Doctorate (PhD) in Finance, a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), research Masters in Economics (MS), Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Masters in Law (LLM). He is also a member of different professional bodies like INSOL India, Urban Land Institute USA, International Bar Association UK, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners USA and Indian Council of Arbitrators. He been a member to the advisory committee for Insolvency and Bankruptcy, Foreign Direct Investment in India.
Dr. Binoy strongly believes in the strength and resilience of Indian Economy. He considers IBC as a major development economics which has not only introduced a shift in the debtor-creditor relationship, but has also made it feasible and convenient for corporates to have the facility of ease of exit in cases of genuine business failure. He considers strict timelines, monitoring as challenging to the regulatory, advocates the process as re-engineeering and re-structuring of stressed assets towards economic development of the nation.
CS Poonam Shukla a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and Post Graduate in Law. She is presently serving as the Company Secretary & Deputy Director (Monitoring & Inspection) of ICSI IIP.
She has more than 13 years’ of diverse experience of working with the Corporate Sector, Official Liquidator, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India; she practiced law in her initial years of professional career. She worked as Company Secretary in Weatherford Drilling and Production Services (India) Private Limited and Jama Corporation Private Limited and handled the company affairs as Compliance Manager.
She also holds Post-Graduation degree in Commerce and Bachelor of Education and Diploma in Taxation.
She has a vast exposure in the field of restructuring and insolvency while working with the regulators in past 7 years and handled liquidation, winding up, merger & amalgamation and insolvency matters.
